Success is temporal
When it comes to judging the success of bioretention systems (or any other sort of pseudo-natural environment for that matter!) its tempting to turn up and site and base your assessment off what you see then and there. In this video we demonstrate why its important to be able to not only see whats happening now, not also infer what has happened in the past and what is likely to happen in the future. The trajectory of a system gives a far better indication of its success than a snapshot in time.
