Jetstar charity and putting people at ease
About a week ago I caught a Jetstar flight home from Townsville late one night.
Towards the end of most Jetstar flights the cabin crew provide an opportunity for people to donate spare change to charity. Normally, the cabin crew make an announcement over the loud speaker, then wander through the cabin to collect any donations.
Tonight’s flight was no different… except that it was. The manner in which the announcement was made was very different. My observation (of course I have no hard data to back this up) was that it was more effective than normal at eliciting donations.
This got me thinking… what can we learn from the way that announcement was made, and how can we apply it to WSUD and stormwater?
Enjoy my ramblings.
