Tunnel vision - Brisbane's street trees

Tunnel vision - Brisbane's street trees

Hi everyone,

Time for the third part in our series (see Episodes 89 and 90) looking at Brisbane City Council's self-watering street trees. I was really excited to make this episode. We often wonder what is going on underneath stormwater systems, but rarely get to take a look. Today we do.

Cheers

Sediment and street trees

Sediment and street trees

Hi there,

In this episode we continue our look (that we started in Episode 89) at Brisbane City Council’s self-watering street trees. In particular, we are looking at how they keep unwanted sediment out of the pipe beneath the system.

Cheers

Brisbane's self watering street trees

Hi everyone,

I love it when people find ways to innovate in this water sensitive urban design journey. Over the past few years Brisbane City Council has been working on a design for low tech, self-watering street trees. On a very rainy morning I went to take a look.

Cheers

Jack
